Accountant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant to manage financial records, ensure compliance with regulations, and support the company’s financial health. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial data, preparing reports, and assisting in budgeting and audits.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain financial records, including ledgers, invoices, and receipts
• Manage accounts payable and receivable
• Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and company policies
• Coordinate with auditors during internal and external audits
• Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide insights

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Proven experience as an Accountant or similar role
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, PetPooja or similar)
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Knowledge of local tax laws and regulations

Preferred Qualifications:

• Professional certification (e.g., CA, CPA, ACCA) is a plus
• Familiarity with ERP systems
