Fashion Designer

We are seeking a passionate and creative Assistant Fashion Designer to join our team at Indivaan, a social enterprise focused on manufacturing sustainable, organic clothing. This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with a talented team of 11 women artisans, contributing to eco-friendly fashion while gaining hands-on experience in international fashion trends and the rich history of textiles.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the design team to create sustainable clothing and accessories.

Assist in the development of patterns, designs, and prototypes.

Utilize basic computer software (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator, Excel) for design and production tasks.

Support artisans in executing designs and maintaining quality standards.

Learn and contribute to the integration of international fashion styles into our products.

Manage or assist with social media content creation and marketing (preferred).

Requirements:

A basic understanding of fashion design and related computer software.

Interest in organic and sustainable fashion.

Eagerness to work with and support women artisans.

Knowledge of social media platforms (preferred but not mandatory).

A willingness to learn and grow in the field of textile history and international fashion.
