Job Description

A logistics coordinator oversees the supply chain cycle, managing the movement, storage, and tracking of goods. They arrange freight, reconcile inventory, and resolve shipping delays to ensure deliveries are timely, cost-effective, and compliant with trade regulations.


Key Responsibilities

  • Shipment Management: Coordinate and schedule inbound and outbound freight with shipping companies and transport carriers.
  • Inventory Tracking: Monitor stock levels, reconcile discrepancies, and ensure product availability to meet customer demand.
  • Documentation: Prepare and maintain shipping records, bills of lading, customs paperwork, and vendor invoices.
  • Problem Solving: Investigate shipping delays or discrepancies, optimize routes, and negotiate rates to reduce operational costs
