The Role: 

The Packing Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the entire packing process to ensure products are packed efficiently, correctly, and in compliance with quality and safety standards. This role involves managing the packing team, ensuring adherence to GMP guidelines, maintaining packing line efficiency, and coordinating with production, QC, and dispatch teams.

Key responsibilities: 

 Supervise daily packing activities to ensure smooth workflow.  

 Ensure packing is carried out as per SOPs, batch records, and GMP guidelines.  

 Monitor and optimize packing line efficiency, reducing wastage. 

 Ensure correct labeling, batch coding, and packaging integrity.  

 Conduct in-process quality checks and coordinate with the QC team for approvals.  

 Maintain proper documentation of batch packing records. 

 Lead and train packing staff/laborers to improve efficiency and accuracy.  

 Assign tasks, monitor performance, and ensure adherence to safety standards. 

 Ensure availability of packing materials from the store to avoid delays.  

 Monitor proper functioning of packing machines and escalate maintenance issues. 

 Work closely with Production, QC, Warehouse, and Dispatch teams for smooth 

operations.  

 Maintain daily reports on packing output, material usage, and rejections.  

 Report delays, material shortages, or quality concerns to the Production Manager.

Required qualification and skills: 

 Proven experience as a Packing Supervisor. 

 Strong team management & leadership abilities. 

 Attention to quality, compliance, and process improvement. 

 Problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Working Days: 6 days
