Job Description
A VMC Machine Operator is responsible for operating and monitoring VMC (Vertical Machining Center) machines to produce precision components as per engineering drawings and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate VMC machines safely and efficiently.
- Load/unload materials and set up tools and fixtures.
- Read engineering drawings and follow work instructions.
- Inspect finished parts using measuring instruments.
- Make minor tool and offset adjustments.
- Maintain machine cleanliness and perform basic maintenance.
- Follow safety, quality, and production requirements.
