Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accountant cum Office Assistant to manage day-to-day accounting activities while supporting general office administration. The ideal candidate should be proficient in accounting processes, documentation, and office coordination, ensuring smooth business operations.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting Duties
Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and bookkeeping.
Prepare sales and purchase entries, invoices, receipts, and payment vouchers.
Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Assist with GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance documentation.
Prepare monthly financial reports and account summaries.
Coordinate with auditors, accountants, and tax consultants as required.
Maintain digital and physical financial records.
Office Administration Duties
Manage office correspondence, emails, and phone calls.
Maintain and organize company documents, files, and records.
Coordinate meetings, appointments, and schedules.
Monitor office supplies and place orders when required.
Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and administrative documents.
Support management with routine operational and administrative tasks.
Handle vendor communications and follow-ups.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com), Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Proficiency in Tally, MS Excel, and MS Office applications.
Knowledge of GST, TDS, invoicing, and bookkeeping principles.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.
