Job Description

Job Summary:

A Back Office Executive cum Accountant is responsible for handling administrative support tasks and maintaining accurate financial records. The role involves managing office documentation, data entry, accounts payable and receivable, bookkeeping, and ensuring smooth back-office operations.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update financial records, ledgers, and accounting documents.
  • Process invoices, payments, receipts, and expense reports.
  • Prepare bank reconciliations and assist with monthly financial reporting.
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
  • Perform data entry and maintain accurate records in accounting software (Tally Prime).
  • Handle GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance documentation (as applicable).
  • Prepare and organize office files, records, and reports.
  • Coordinate with vendors, customers, and internal departments regarding accounts and administrative matters.
  • Assist in payroll processing and employee reimbursement records.
  • Generate MIS reports and provide administrative support to management.
  • Ensure confidentiality of financial and business information.


Required Skills:

  • Knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Office, and accounting software such as Tally, Zoho Books, or ERP systems.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills.
  • Good communication and organizational abilities.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in financial transactions.
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com), Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 1–2 years of experience in accounting and back-office operations (preferred).
  • Knowledge of GST, TDS, and basic taxation regulations is an advantage.
