Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced, goal-oriented Business Development Manager for our Ahmedabad location to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, servicing, and business partner acquisition. You will be responsible for identifying opportunities, generating leads, and driving business growth through the successful acquisition and servicing of new business partners.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and execute strategies to drive business in new and existing markets
2. Establish and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
3. Reach out to potential partners and develop relationships.
4. Identify and map business strengths and customer needs.
5. Research business opportunities and viable income streams.
6. Negotiate with stakeholders.
7. Oversee the sales process to attract new clients.
8. Draft and review contracts.
9. Report on successes and areas needing improvements.
10. Assist in the on-boarding and servicing of new business partners.
11. Maintain a deep understanding of industry trends, market activities, and competitors.
Skills and Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 2 years of experience in sales, preferably within the Broking, Mutual Fund, or Insurance business.
2. Proven experience in Franchisee acquisition.
3. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
4. Ability to foster and maintain relationships with partners and customers.
5. Strong communication and negotiation skills.
6. The ability to understand and analyze sales performance metrics.
7. Solid customer service attitude with excellent negotiation skills.
8. Strong business sense and industry expertise.
9. Knowledge of CRM software and MS Office suite.
10. Understanding of sales performance metrics.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance or a related field.
