Job Description
Job Summary ; A CNC Machine Operator is responsible for operating and monitoring Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machines to produce precision metal or plastic parts according to technical drawings and specifications. The operator ensures quality, accuracy, and safe machine operation during production.
- Key Responsibilities : Operate CNC machines such as milling, turning, or drilling machines.
- Load raw materials into the machine and remove finished products.
- Read and understand technical drawings, blueprints, and job orders.
- Monitor machine operations to ensure proper functioning.
- Measure finished parts using tools like vernier calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Maintain quality standards and ensure parts meet specifications.
- Perform basic machine maintenance and cleaning.
- Report machine issues or defects to the supervisor.
