Job Description
Job Summary: We are looking for a proactive and reliable individual to join our team in an entry-level capacity. This role is a hybrid of office administration and field-based tasks. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate stock records, handling essential banking errands, and coordinating various outside office activities to ensure smooth business operations.
Key Responsibilities1. Inventory & Stock Coordination
- Perform regular physical stock-taking and inventory audits.
- Update stock registers (manual or digital) for incoming and outgoing goods.
- Labeling, organizing, and maintaining the storage area for easy accessibility.
- Reporting any discrepancies in stock levels to the management.
2. Banking & Financial Errands
- Handling daily or weekly bank visits for cash/check deposits.
- Collecting bank statements, demand drafts, or other financial documents.
- Submitting documents to government offices or tax consultants as required.
3. Field Operations & General Support
- Managing outside work, including document delivery and pick-ups from vendors or partners.
- Coordinating with external "karigars" (artisans) or suppliers to track the status of work-in-progress.
- Assisting in basic office maintenance and procurement of office supplies.
- Candidate Requirements
- Education: Minimum 12th Pass (Higher Secondary) or Graduate in any stream.
- Skills:
- Basic mathematical skills for accurate counting.
- Familiarity with smartphone apps (WhatsApp, Google Maps).
- Ability to read and write basic English and the local language.
- Logistics: Must possess a valid two-wheeler driving license for field tasks.
- Attributes: High level of integrity and honesty (crucial for handling cash/stock), punctuality, and a "can-do" attitude.
