Job Description

Department: Sales & Marketing

Reporting To: Sales Manager / Proprietor

Location: Ahmedabad, Gujarat

Employment Type: Full-Time


Job Summary

The Field Sales Executive will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, developing relationships with builders, contractors, architects, dealers, and industrial clients, and achieving monthly sales targets. The role involves extensive field visits, customer meetings, product presentations, quotation follow-ups, and market development.


Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
  • Visit builders, contractors, civil engineers, architects, infrastructure companies, and dealers on a daily basis.
  • Promote the company's range of construction materials including paver blocks, RCC pipes, kerb stones, manhole covers, and related products.
  • Generate enquiries and convert them into confirmed orders.
  • Prepare and submit quotations in coordination with the office team.
  • Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and commercial terms with customers.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing customers to ensure repeat business.
  • Conduct regular market surveys to identify competitors, pricing trends, and new projects.
  • Achieve monthly sales targets for revenue, customer acquisition, and collections.
  • Coordinate with dispatch and operations teams to ensure timely delivery.
  • Resolve customer complaints and provide prompt after-sales support.
  • Collect outstanding payments within agreed credit terms.
  • Maintain daily visit reports (DVR), sales pipeline, and CRM updates.
  • Participate in exhibitions, promotional campaigns, and customer engagement activities.

  • Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.


Educational Qualification

  • Graduate in any discipline (BBA/B.Com preferred).
  • Diploma or Degree in Marketing or Civil Engineering will be an added advantage.


Experience

  • 1–5 years of experience in Field Sales.
  • Preference will be given to candidates from the construction materials, building products, cement, pipes, tiles, hardware, sanitaryware, steel, or infrastructure industry.
  • Preferred Candidate ProfileOwn two-wheeler with a valid driving licence.
  • Familiar with Ahmedabad and nearby market areas.
  • Self-motivated with a result-oriented attitude.
  • Strong networking and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Working ConditionsExtensive field travel.
  • Six-day working week.
  • Regular client meetings, dealer visits, and project site visits.
  • Reporting to the office as per company policy.
