Field Technical Expert
Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
- Resolve dealer/site/field issues promptly to ensure “Zero” repeat failures.
- Reduce average workshop and breakdown turnaround time (TAT).
- Train and monitor technician performance at dealer locations.
- Handle complex technical issues such as ECU flashing, advanced diagnostics, and troubleshooting electrical/electronic systems.
- Resolve breakdowns requiring expert intervention without towing vehicles to workshops.
- Guide dealer teams on correct firmware or ECU updates for vehicles.
- Provide immediate assistance to minimize downtime for commercial fleets.
- Attend urgent cases where vehicles are stranded due to technical failures.
- Train local technicians on advanced repair techniques and new tools.
- Act as a technical knowledge resource for field teams.
Preferred Industries
Education Qualification
Minimum 5 years in a commercial vehicle company or dealer environment with hands-on experience in Electrical, wiring harness, EMS, ATS, engine, gearbox, differential, exhaust systems, brakes and tire wear issues.
