Head- Quality- Airport Infrastructure
Responsibilities
Quality Assurance and Control Leadership:
Lead and oversee the QA/QC processes for construction projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards, local regulations, and organizational policies.
Develop and oversee implementation of quality management systems and procedures that promote continuous improvement throughout all project phases.
Budget Management:
Oversee the QA/QC budget for the airport, ensuring cost-effective allocation and utilization of resources while maintaining quality standards. Monitor expenditures and approve budget adjustments as necessary to support quality initiatives.
Quality Management Systems:
Design the Quality Management Systems (QMS), method statements, and Inspection Test Plans (ITP) at the site.
Conduct regular quality audits to verify compliance with established standards, identifying any deviations, and implementing corrective actions to maintain the highest level of quality throughout the project lifecycle.
Quality Audits and Inspections:
Oversee regular quality audits and inspections across construction sites to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to quality standards.
Analyze audit findings to develop and implement corrective actions and preventive measures.
Team Leadership and Development:
Provide leadership and guidance to the QA/QC teams, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous learning.
Mentor team members, conducting performance evaluations and providing opportunities for professional development.
Regulatory Compliance and Risk Management:
Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations throughout all construction activities.
Conduct risk assessments related to quality processes, identifying potential areas of concern and implementing mitigation strategies.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
Prepare and present comprehensive quality reports to senior management, highlighting key performance indicators (KPIs), quality metrics, and areas for enhancement.
Utilize data analysis to track quality trends and recommend improvements to processes and systems.
Continuous Improvement:
Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure compliance with quality assurance standards and guidelines.
Identify areas for improvement within the current processes, driving initiatives to enhance overall quality, and continuously monitoring and adjusting procedures to align with evolving industry standards and organizational goals.
Digital Mindset:
Drive quality innovation by introducing new technologies, methodologies, and best practices to enhance quality assurance and control efforts.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in quality management to bring innovative solutions to the organization.

Qualifications
Education Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. A Master’s degree or specialized certifications (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean Management) is a plus.
Work Experience:
18+ years in quality management within large-scale infrastructure projects, with at least 8 years in a leadership role and in airports.Candidate shall have expertise field inspections, mix designs & material inspections.
