Jr. Accountant

Responsible to maintain payroll processing systems to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions including salaries, benefits, deductions etc. Ensures accurate and timely processing of payroll updates including new hires, terminations, and changes to pay rates. Ensures full compliance to organizational and statutory requirements. 

1. Responsible to prepare, process and pay employees in a timely and accurate manner through payroll runs, electronic bank transfer instructions, paychecks, vouchers etc. Responsible to prepare, process and pay statutory requirements such as social security, gratuity etc. Responsible to ensure thorough documentation and employee payroll files are maintained in paper and electronic form and always available for audits and verification

2. Responsible to maintains payroll information by directing the collection, calculation, and entering of data. Responsible for timely updates and accuracy of payroll records by reviewing and approving changes in salary, benefits, exemptions, deductions, leaves, job titles, and department/ division transfers etc.

3. Responsible to prepare, review and analyze various periodic and custom payroll reports by compiling summaries of earnings, deductions, leaves etc.

4. Responsible to address any and all payroll queries and grievances from employees by properly tracking, monitoring and effective closeout thereof

5. Responsible for all individual and specific departmental productivity targets, financial objectives, KPIs and attainment thereof.
