Lab Technician (Soil Testing)

In this role, you will be primarily responsible for receiving, logging, and securely managing the chain of custody for field soil and rock samples, including Undisturbed Samples (UDS). Your core duty will involve conducting a wide array of standard and advanced soil tests essential for our geotechnical and forensic studies. These tests include determining moisture content, Atterberg limits, compaction characteristics, and California Bearing Ratio (CBR). You will also execute more complex procedures such as consolidation, permeability, and triaxial shear tests to support our field drilling operations. We require candidates to possess a Diploma or related scientific disciplines. You will need to record all test observations, perform necessary mathematical calculations, and assist in drafting final laboratory test reports. Furthermore, you will manage routine maintenance and assist with the scheduled calibration of our testing instruments to maintain high precision. A strong commitment to maintaining a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment is mandatory for all team members.
