Job Purpose

• Responsible for regional Own & IRU route rollout as per AOP target.
• Responsible for new fiber pair readiness to meet Mobility & Enterprise requirement.
• Enhanced responsibility and accountability due to inhouse operations 

Key Result Areas/Accountabilities

• Deliver Own and IRU routes to meet site, enterprise, Optics & IP/MPLS network rollout targets.
•  Finalize fiber rollout vendors along with SCM & planning to meet the rollout requirement.
• Ensure high standard of fiber route built by following the rollout technical specs.
• Digitize fiber assets by onboarding GIS tool and route mapping.
• Define blue print for fiber digitization – automation of patrolling, splicing, visibility of all maintenance staff in Apps etc.
• Digitization of ROW/Permissions/HOTO etc.Procurement and reconciliation of OFC project materials along with SCM & Vendor
• Ensure ROW compliance including all statutory payments 

Core Competencies, Knowledge, Experience

• 8-10 years of Telecom experience and Proficiency in understanding overall transport NW architecture and key cost drivers.
• Ability to manage in dynamic, high growth and highly uncertainty environments.  Strategic mind bend and understanding of  overall mobility and enterprise Network  
• Sound understanding of Capex & Opex and budgetary skills to derive best out of NW at lowest possible cost.
• Leading all fiber design activities and provide technical expertise on all fiber planning & projects.
•  Should employ a specific time management strategy to ensure closure of fiber projects on fixed time periods.
• Overall understanding of financial model to support new Fibre vertical. Also should have clear understanding of evolving Govt. policies related to ROW, so as to align the process for optimizing the cost.
• Strong Stakeholder management, Negotiation skills and Strategic mind set to make win-win alliance with TSP partners and IRU partners

Must have technical / professional qualifications

• Should  have  B.tech/B.E
• 8-10 years of Telecom experience
