Merchandiser

Key Responsibilities:

1. Accessory Coordination:

o Ensure all necessary accessories for each style are easily accessible and

organized.

o Arrange accessory pieces with vendors as per the requirements of each style.

2. Vendor Communication:

o Forward CAD images to vendors for layering and ensure clear understanding.

o Maintain daily follow-up with vendors to update the status of each style.

3. Pre-Production Sample (PPS) Follow-up:

o Track the progress of pre-production samples.

o Ensure timely submission of a complete sample after fit approval.

4. Fabric Management:

o Provide cutting details and immediately return any remaining fabric after

cutting.

o Follow up with vendors to return balance fabric and completed pieces as

quickly as possible.

5. Vendor Visits and Quality Control:

o Conduct regular visits to vendors to ensure proper updating of issued styles.

o Perform in-line quality control checks to maintain production standards.

6. Costing and Billing:

o Prepare final cost sheets for each style.

o Update data for individual vendors and styles.

o Check, verify, and process vendor bills for the billing accountant.

Qualifications:

 Proven experience in garment merchandising or a related field.

 Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

 Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

 Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

 Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant CAD software.
