Production Engineer

We are hiring a Production Engineer for our company, Future Industries.

The position is based in Ahemdabad

The offered salary ranges from ₹30,000 to ₹40,000 per month.

Candidates should have relevant experience in production and manufacturing processes.

The job requires strong problem-solving and technical skills.

Working days are Monday to Saturday.

Office timing is from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

1. Process Optimization & Workflow Design

• Design and implement efficient production layouts (e.g., Lean manufacturing, 5S) to minimize bottlenecks in metal fabrication.
• Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for cutting, bending, welding, and powder coating processes.
• Monitor production cycles and implement improvements to reduce waste and "cycle time."

2. Technical Supervision & Quality Control

• Supervise the operation of machinery such as CNC laser cutters, hydraulic press brakes, and automated welding stations.
• Ensure all racks meet structural load-bearing standards and safety certifications (e.g., RMI or ISO standards).
• Troubleshoot technical issues on the shop floor to minimize downtime.

3. Planning & Resource Management

• Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure raw materials (steel coils, uprights, beams) are available for the production schedule.
• Estimate production costs and manage budgets for labor and materials.
• Oversee preventive maintenance schedules for manufacturing equipment.

4. Safety & Compliance

• Enforce strict Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) protocols, especially regarding heavy metal handling and chemical exposure in painting units.
