Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Purchase Executive to manage procurement activities, vendor relationships, and ensure timely availability of materials/services at competitive prices. The role involves sourcing, negotiating, and coordinating with internal teams to support business operations efficiently.

• Key Responsibilities
• Identify, evaluate, and select reliable suppliers/vendors
• Procure materials, goods, and services as per company requirements
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers
• Prepare and process purchase orders (POs)
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment
• Coordinate with stores, production, and finance teams
• Track orders and ensure timely delivery of goods
• Maintain records of purchases, pricing, and supplier performance
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement procedures
• Analyze market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities
• Required Skills & Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field
• Proven experience in procurement/purchasing role
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP/Procurement software
• Strong analytical and organizational abilities
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in manufacturing or relevant industry
• Knowledge of supply chain management principles
• Familiarity with GST and basic financial processes
