Store Manager

Reporting To: Directors

We are looking for a hands-on Store Manager who can lead the store like an owner, build a strong team culture, drive sales, maintain operational excellence, and ensure every customer leaves with a positive experience.


Role Purpose - To oversee the complete day-to-day operations of the store, ensuring smooth functioning across retail, café, inventory, staff management, customer service, visual merchandising, compliance, and profitability.


The Store Manager is responsible for delivering sales growth while maintaining exceptional operational standards and customer satisfaction.


  • Key Responsibilities
  • Store OperationsEnsure smooth daily operation of the entire store.
  • Maintain opening and closing procedures.
  • Ensure store cleanliness, hygiene, and visual presentation standards.
  • Monitor all retail and café activities throughout the day.
  • Ensure shelves remain fully stocked and customer-ready.
  • Maintain proper product rotation and freshness standards.
  • 2. Team Leadership
  • Lead, motivate, and develop store team members.
  • Conduct daily briefings and shift planning.
  • Create a positive and performance-driven work culture.
  • Train employees on customer service, SOPs, and product knowledge.
  • Manage attendance, punctuality, discipline, and grooming standards.
  • Identify high-potential employees and support their growth.
  • 3. Sales & Business
  • PerformanceAchieve monthly sales targets.
  • Drive average basket size and customer spending.
  • Monitor daily sales performance and key store KPIs.
  • Identify opportunities to increase sales through merchandising and promotions.
  • Implement local marketing initiatives and community engagement activities.
  • Suggest new products based on customer demand and buying patterns.
  • 4. Customer Experience
  • Deliver outstanding customer service at all times.
  • Resolve customer complaints quickly and professionally.
  • Build relationships with regular customers.
  • Ensure customers receive fast and friendly service.
  • Maintain Daily Point's service standards and brand image.
  • 5. Inventory & Stock ManagementMaintain accurate stock levels.
  • Monitor fast-moving and slow-moving products.
  • Ensure timely ordering and replenishment.
  • Conduct daily stock checks and periodic inventory audits.
  • Minimize stock losses, wastage, expiry, and shrinkage.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and management for stock requirements.
  • 6. Café Operations
  • OversightMonitor café product quality and presentation.
  • Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are maintained.
  • Maintain availability of all café ingredients and consumables.
  • Ensure timely preparation and service during peak hours.
  • Monitor wastage and consumption of café materials.
  • 7. Merchandising & Store
  • PresentationEnsure all category displays are properly maintained.
  • Execute promotional displays and seasonal campaigns.
  • Monitor shelf availability and planogram compliance.
  • Keep pricing and promotional materials updated.
  • Continuously improve customer shopping experience through visual merchandising.
  • 8. Cash & Financial
  • Control&Supervise billing operations.
  • Ensure accurate cash handling procedures.
  • Verify daily sales reports and cash reconciliation.
  • Monitor store expenses and prevent unnecessary costs.
  • Maintain accountability for store assets and equipment.
  • 9. Reporting & Administration
  • Submit Daily Sales Reports.
  • Submit Daily Store Operations Reports.
  • Track inventory variances and stock movements.
  • Maintain employee records and attendance logs.
  • Report maintenance issues, equipment breakdowns, and operational concerns.
  • Coordinate with management regarding business performance and improvement opportunities.
  • 10. Safety & Compliance
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and local regulations.
  • Maintain food safety, hygiene, and housekeeping standards.
  • Ensure workplace safety for employees and customers.
  • Handle emergency situations calmly and effectively.
