Chatoree is a hyper-local food delivery platform built exclusively for Ahmedabad. We connect local restaurants with nearby customers, offering lower prices than major platforms while ensuring restaurants keep more of their earnings. We are currently in our early growth stage, operating in the Satellite–Prahladnagar–Vastrapur corridor with 25+ partner restaurants.

Role Overview

We are looking for a hungry, street-smart Sales Executive who can go into the field, talk to real people, and bring back real orders. This is not a desk job. This is not a leaflet-distribution role. Your primary goal is to generate food orders every single day by directly engaging with potential customers in PGs, hostels, residential societies, markets, and commercial areas.

Key Responsibilities

1. Customer Acquisition (Primary)

• Visit PGs, hostels, residential societies, and small office clusters daily to pitch Chatoree and generate food orders on the spot.

• Approach people during pre-lunch hours (10:00 AM – 12:00 PM) and pre-dinner hours (5:00 PM – 7:00 PM) to secure orders.

• Help customers download the app, create an account, and place their first order while you are with them.

• Maintain a daily target of customer interactions and order conversions.

• Collect customer contact details (phone/WhatsApp) for follow-up and repeat orders.

2. Order Fulfilment & Delivery• Pick up food orders from partner restaurants in the assigned zone.

• Deliver orders to customers within the promised time window.

• Handle cash-on-delivery payments and ensure accurate settlement at end of day.

• Maintain food quality during transit using insulated delivery bags.

3. Customer Retention• Follow up with existing customers via WhatsApp to encourage repeat orders.

• Share daily menu specials and promotional offers with your customer base.

• Collect feedback after each delivery and report issues to the operations team.

• Build personal rapport with regular customers to ensure loyalty.

4. Field Marketing• Distribute promotional materials (leaflets, flyers, standees) at strategic locations.

• Set up and manage canopy activations at high-footfall locations during lunch hours.

• Identify and recommend new areas, PGs, and customer segments for expansion.

• Represent Chatoree professionally in all customer-facing interactions.

5. Reporting & Coordination• Share daily activity report via WhatsApp: areas covered, people approached, orders generated, deliveries completed.

• Flag operational issues such as restaurant delays, app bugs, or customer complaints in real time.

Coordinate with the operations team on order flow, delivery schedules, and inventory availability.
