Job Description
Sambharwala is looking for an experienced and passionate South Indian Chef who specializes in authentic South Indian cuisine and can maintain consistency, hygiene, speed, and taste across daily operations. The candidate should have hands-on experience in preparing traditional South Indian dishes and managing kitchen operations efficiently in a QSR or restaurant environment.
- Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare authentic South Indian dishes including:
- Idli
- Dosa
- Uttapam
- Vada
- Sambhar
- Chutneys
- South Indian rice varieties
- Filter coffee
- Ensure consistency in taste, portioning, and presentation.
- Handle preparation and fermentation processes for batter and other ingredients.
- Maintain food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness standards.
- Monitor inventory and coordinate with procurement team for stock requirements.
- Reduce wastage and maintain food costing standards.
- Train and supervise kitchen helpers or assistants.
- Ensure timely service during rush hours.
- Follow SOPs and kitchen systems set by the management.
