Position: Senior Technical Product Specialist – Industrial Pumps
About the Role
HI LIFE Manufacturing Private Limited is expanding its industrial pump portfolio and is seeking an experienced Technical Product Specialist with deep expertise in the industrial pumping industry. This is a strategic role focused on identifying world-class industrial pump manufacturers, evaluating product quality and technical performance, and supporting the expansion of our product portfolio through contract manufacturing and strategic partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
• Identify and evaluate high-quality industrial pump manufacturers in India and internationally.
• Conduct detailed technical assessments of industrial pumps based on design, construction, hydraulic performance, efficiency curves, reliability, material selection, and application suitability.
• Analyze pump performance graphs, technical specifications, testing standards, historical field performance, and market acceptance.
• Recommend manufacturers capable of producing premium-quality pumps that align with Highlife’s quality standards.
• Represent the technical interests of Highlife during discussions with OEMs, manufacturers, and technology partners.
• Lead technical due diligence for contract manufacturing, OEM partnerships, and joint venture opportunities.
• Assist in product selection, benchmarking, and portfolio expansion across various industrial pump categories.
• Provide technical guidance to management regarding product feasibility, quality improvements, and new product development.
Required Qualifications & Experience
• 7-10+ years of hands-on experience in the industrial pump industry.
• Strong technical knowledge of centrifugal pumps, multistage pumps, process pumps, chemical pumps, slurry pumps, vertical turbine pumps, API pumps, and other industrial pumping systems.
• Proven ability to assess pump quality, manufacturing capabilities, performance, reliability, and long-term operational efficiency.
• Experience working with pump manufacturers, OEMs, EPC companies, or industrial engineering organizations.
• Strong understanding of pump hydraulics, materials of construction, manufacturing processes, testing standards, and industrial applications.
• Excellent analytical, technical evaluation, and negotiation skills.
