Job Description
Job Summary:We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Vendor Onboarding Executive to identify, onboard, and manage vendor registrations. The candidate will ensure a smooth onboarding process by collecting required documents, verifying vendor information, coordinating with internal teams, and maintaining strong vendor relationships.
- Key Responsibilities:Identify and connect with potential vendors/suppliers.
- Explain the company's onboarding process and benefits.
- Collect and verify vendor documents (GST, PAN, bank details, licenses, etc.).
- Complete vendor registration and profile creation.
- Coordinate with operations, finance, and compliance teams for vendor approval.
- Assist vendors with product listing, pricing, and portal usage.
- Resolve vendor queries and provide onboarding support.
- Maintain accurate vendor records and MIS reports.
- Follow up with vendors until successful activation.
- Build long-term relationships with vendors to improve engagement.
- Required Skills:Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple vendors simultaneously.
- Customer-focused with problem-solving ability.
- Knowledge of CRM or vendor management systems is an advantage.
- Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Marketing, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in vendor onboarding, vendor management, operations, or B2B sales.
- Freshers with excellent communication skills may also apply (depending on company requirements).
- Preferred Experience:Experience with marketplace or e-commerce platforms.
- Knowledge of vendor documentation and compliance.
- Familiarity with ERP/CRM software.
- Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):Number of vendors onboarded per month.
- Vendor activation rate.
- Document verification accuracy.
- Vendor satisfaction score.
- Onboarding turnaround time.
