Quality Control Inspector

The Quality Control Inspector is responsible for ensuring that all polyurethane (PU) foam products manufactured at the plant meet the company's quality standards and customer specifications. The role involves conducting routine inspections, testing raw materials, monitoring production parameters, and evaluating finished foam blocks for compliance with established quality requirements.

Key responsibilities include collecting and testing samples from incoming raw materials, in-process foam production, and finished goods. The inspector will measure density, hardness, tensile strength, elongation, compression set, and other physical properties as per standard testing procedures. The role also requires monitoring foam rise, cell structure, color, dimensions, and identifying defects such as shrinkage, cracks, voids, discoloration, or closed cells.

The Quality Control Inspector shall maintain accurate records of test results, prepare quality reports, and communicate deviations to the Production, Foaming, and Operations teams. The position will support root cause analysis of quality issues and assist in implementing corrective and preventive actions.

Candidates should possess a diploma or bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Polymer Technology, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Prior experience in PU foam manufacturing or industrial quality control is preferred. Strong attention to detail, basic computer skills, knowledge of laboratory testing procedures, and the ability to work closely with production teams are essential for success in this role.
