About the Company
FARMKING manufactures agricultural implements, tractor attachments and farm machinery for farmers, dealers and rural agricultural markets through a dealer-driven business model.
Position Overview
The Business Development Executive will handle lead generation, dealer/customer inquiries, follow-ups, quotation coordination, order communication and sales record maintenance from FARMKING’s Jaipur/Rampura Dabri office.
The role requires coordination with dealers, customers, Area Sales Executives, Pre-Sales/Data Entry, dispatch, accounts, service team and Management.
Job Purpose
To support business growth by identifying sales opportunities, managing dealer/customer follow-ups, maintaining inquiry records and coordinating quotation/order movement between the market and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities / KRA
- Generate, receive and manage leads from calls, dealers, customers, walk-ins, WhatsApp, digital sources, field sales inputs, references and Management-assigned sources.
- Handle dealer/customer inquiries, maintain follow-ups and record inquiry details, requirements, status, remarks and next action in the company format.
- Coordinate quotation requirements with the authorized person / Pre-Sales / Data Entry team and follow up on quotations, inquiries, dealer requirements and pending orders.
- Coordinate with Area Sales Executives and internal teams for field updates, order-processing support, dispatch follow-up, customer/dealer communication and market feedback.
- Maintain sales data, customer/dealer records, lead records, follow-up reports and converted/lost/pending lead status.
- Share customer feedback, dealer feedback, competitor information and market observations with the reporting authority.
- Escalate service complaints, product concerns or technical issues to Service Coordinator / Service Lead / Management.
- Perform additional sales-support and business-development tasks assigned by the reporting authority or Management.
Role Boundaries
The BDE is an office-based sales coordination and business development role.
The BDE shall not independently approve or commit dealer appointment, price, discount, credit terms, dealer margin, delivery timeline, warranty, replacement, payment adjustment, service commitment or special commercial terms.
All pricing, discount, dealership, credit, delivery, warranty, replacement, service and commercial approvals shall remain with Management or the authorized person.
Required Qualification
Graduate in any discipline preferred.
Candidates with experience in sales coordination, business development, dealer handling, lead generation, customer follow-up or agricultural machinery sales support will be preferred.
Required Experience
6 months to 3+ years of relevant experience in business development, lead generation, dealer/customer coordination, sales follow-up, quotation coordination, CRM/Excel reporting, agricultural machinery, tractor attachments, farm equipment or industrial product sales.
Fresh or lower-experience candidates may be considered if they have strong communication, basic computer knowledge, learning ability and follow-up discipline.
Required Skills
Good Hindi communication, basic English reading/writing, customer/dealer handling, lead generation, follow-up discipline, basic negotiation, MS Excel knowledge, accurate record maintenance, internal coordination, professional communication and willingness to learn FARMKING products and sales process.
Preferred Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate should be disciplined, communication-focused and confident in dealer/customer follow-ups.
Candidates with exposure to agricultural machinery, tractor attachments, farm equipment, rural markets, dealer networks or industrial product sales will be preferred.
Candidates without basic computer knowledge, reporting discipline or follow-up ability may not be suitable for this role.
KPI / Performance Indicators
Performance will be reviewed based on lead quality, inquiry handling, follow-up discipline, quotation follow-up, dealer/customer coordination, lead conversion support, sales-record accuracy, reporting discipline, coordination with field/internal teams and professional conduct.
Compensation and Benefits
Monthly CTC: ₹18,000 – ₹25,000
Annual CTC: ₹2,16,000 – ₹3,00,000
Incentives, if applicable, shall be as per approved company policy and shall not be treated as fixed salary.
PF, ESI, leave, holidays, weekly off, allowances and other benefits shall apply as per company policy, eligibility and applicable law.
CTC shall not be interpreted as in-hand salary. Final salary structure shall be prepared as per company policy and applicable statutory requirements.
Confidentiality
The employee must maintain confidentiality of company data, dealer/customer data, price details, quotations, sales reports, business strategy, internal communication and product information.
All customer records, dealer records, lead data, sales reports and business information created or collected during employment shall remain company property.
Selection Process
Resume screening, HR discussion, communication assessment, sales/business development interview, Excel/reporting check if required, management discussion, salary discussion, document verification and final Management approval.
Documents Required at Joining
Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, photographs, educational documents, experience letter if available, previous salary proof if applicable, bank details, address proof, emergency contact details and any other HR-required document.
Important Note
This JD defines the general scope of the Business Development Executive role. Duties may be modified, expanded or reassigned based on business requirements, sales process, reporting structure and Management instructions.
