Job Summary

FARMKING is hiring an experienced CNC Plasma Cutting Operator for factory production and fabrication support. The candidate will operate CNC plasma cutting machines for cutting MS sheets, plates and components used in agricultural machinery, tractor attachments, machine frames and fabricated assemblies. The role requires CNC plasma cutting experience, basic drawing / DXF / nesting understanding, cut-quality checking, material handling, safety discipline and basic fitting/assembling knowledge.

Key Responsibility Areas / KRA

• Operate CNC plasma cutting machine as per approved drawing, DXF file, nesting plan, CNC program, job card, sample or supervisor instruction.
• Cut MS sheets, plates, brackets, gussets, mounting plates, frames, covers, supports and other fabricated components.
• Check material thickness, sheet/plate size, drawing/program reference, quantity and part details before cutting.
• Load, select and run only approved CNC cutting programs as instructed by the authorized person.
• Check cut-part dimensions, hole positions, profile accuracy, edge quality, quantity and part identification.
• Identify and report wrong cutting, missed holes, dross/slag, distortion, wrong material, program mismatch, machine issue or safety concern.
• Handle raw material, cut parts, rejected parts, usable remnants and scrap properly.
• Coordinate with Design, Production, Fabrication, Welding, Fitting, Assembly, Store and Quality teams.
• Use basic fitting/assembling knowledge to support alignment, hole matching, mounting, welding preparation and final assembly.
• Maintain machine area, cutting table, torch area, consumables, tools, daily cutting updates and workplace safety.

Required Skills

• Minimum 2 years of CNC plasma cutting experience.
• Knowledge of CNC plasma / CNC profile cutting machine operation.
• Basic drawing, DXF, program and nesting understanding preferred.
• Sheet and plate cutting knowledge.
• Measuring tool knowledge such as tape, steel rule, vernier caliper, square or template.
• Basic fitting and assembling knowledge.
• Ability to identify cutting defects and report machine/material/program issues.
• Safety awareness for sparks, fumes, hot metal, electrical risk, sharp edges and shop-floor work.

Qualification

10th / 12th / ITI / Diploma / CNC or machine-operation training preferred. Practical CNC plasma cutting experience will be given higher preference.

Preferred Background

Candidates from CNC plasma cutting, CNC profile cutting, sheet/plate cutting, fabrication shop, machine manufacturing, agricultural machinery, tractor attachments, heavy fabrication, fitting support or assembly support will be preferred.

KPI / Performance Indicators

Performance will be reviewed based on cutting accuracy, hole/profile quality, timely job completion, reduction of wrong cutting/rework, proper material and scrap handling, machine/consumable care, safety discipline, reporting accuracy and coordination with fabrication, welding, fitting and assembly teams.

Compensation and Benefits

Monthly CTC: ₹18,000 – ₹25,000

PF, ESI, overtime/extra work and other benefits shall be applicable as per company policy, eligibility and applicable law. CTC shall not be treated as in-hand salary unless mentioned in the offer letter.
