JOB DESCRIPTION

1. Production Supervision

• Oversee end-to-end matchbox production (splints, dipping, drying, packing)
• Ensure daily and monthly production targets are met
• Monitor workflow and improve efficiency

2. Workforce Management

• Supervise and manage factory workers
• Allocate duties, handle shifts, and maintain discipline
• Ensure smooth coordination between departments

3. Safety & Compliance

• Ensure strict adherence to safety norms (critical in match industry)
• Monitor safe handling of chemicals and materials
• Prevent fire hazards and enforce safety practices

4. 5S & Workplace Management

• Implement and maintain 5S methodology (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain)
• Keep production areas clean, organized, and efficient
• Reduce waste and improve workplace productivity
• Train workers on 5S practices and discipline

5. Quality Control

• Ensure consistent quality in splints, chemical coating, and packing
• Reduce rejection and wastage
• Maintain product standards

6. Inventory & Material Handling

• Monitor raw materials (wood, chemicals, boxes)
• Coordinate with stores to avoid shortages or excess

7. Maintenance Coordination

• Report machine issues and ensure quick resolution
• Minimize downtime and production loss

Location : Arupukottai, Viruthunagar

Experience : 2 to 5 Years
