Site Manager

Job Summary:

• We are looking for an experienced Site Manager to oversee day-to-day sand mining operations. The candidate will be responsible for managing site activities, manpower, machinery, and ensuring smooth and safe operations at the mining site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily operations including excavation, loading, and transportation
• Supervise manpower (labour, operators, drivers) and maintain discipline
• Ensure smooth functioning of machinery like Excavators (Poklen), Loaders, Dumpers
• Monitor daily production and achieve targets
• Maintain reports:

- Daily Progress Report (DPR)

- Diesel consumption report

- Labour attendance

• Coordinate with transport team and head office. 
• Ensure proper utilization of resources and control costs (diesel, labour, maintenance)
• Handle on-site issues such as machine breakdown, labour problems, delays
• Ensure all safety measures are followed at site (PPE, safe working conditions)
• Follow basic mining rules and government compliance.

Requirements:

• Minimum qualification: 10th pass
• 8-10 years of experience in mining/construction/site management
• Must have knowledge of sand mining operations
• Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, Word)
• Must be able to speak Bengali
• Strong leadership and decision-making skills
• Willingness to stay at site location
