Accountant Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting the organization's financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate financial records and accounting documentation.
• Prepare and manage invoices, payments, receipts, and bank reconciliations.
• Handle GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance requirements.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Conduct ledger scrutiny and resolve accounting discrepancies.
• Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities when required.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
• Use accounting software such as Tally, Busy, Zoho Books, or similar ERP systems.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com), M.Com, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, bookkeeping, and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.
• Good English communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with tax filing and statutory compliance.
• Knowledge of payroll processing.
• Experience working in a fast-paced business environment.
