Job Description
- Key ResponsibilitiesOperate CNC plasma cutting machines for cutting steel and other metals.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and cutting plans.
- Load raw materials (metal sheets/plates) onto the machine.
- Set up machine parameters such as speed, voltage, and gas flow.
- Monitor cutting operations to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Inspect finished components using measuring tools (vernier, tape, gauges).
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of plasma machines.
- Identify and troubleshoot basic machine issues.
- Maintain production records and job logs.
- Ensure optimal material utilization and minimize wastage.
