Job Description
Position Title: Recruitment Officer
Department: Human Resources (HR)
Location: Barrackpore
Job Summary:
A Recruitment Officer is responsible for attracting, screening, selecting, and hiring qualified candidates to meet the organization's staffing needs. The role involves managing the full recruitment cycle, coordinating with department heads, and ensuring a smooth hiring process.
Key Responsibilities:
· Identify staffing needs and workforce requirements.
· Prepare and post job advertisements on job portals, social media, and company websites.
· Source candidates through various recruitment channels.
· Review resumes and applications to shortlist suitable candidates.
· Conduct initial screening interviews and assessments.
· Coordinate interview schedules between candidates and hiring managers.
· Verify candidate qualifications, references, and background information.
· Prepare offer letters and assist in salary negotiations.
· Maintain recruitment databases and applicant tracking systems.
· Ensure compliance with company policies and employment laws.
· Build and maintain a talent pool for future hiring needs.
· Participate in job fairs, campus recruitment drives, and networking events.
· Generate recruitment reports and hiring analytics.
Required Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
· Certification in HR or Recruitment (preferred).
· Proven experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, or HR roles.
Required Skills:
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Strong interviewing and candidate assessment abilities.
· Ability to multitask and manage multiple vacancies simultaneously.
· Strong organizational and time-management skills.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
· Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
· Attention to detail and confidentiality.
