Job Description
Expertise in making traditional South Indian breakfast and meal items like dosa, idli, vada, sambar and chutneys. Ability to handle wet grinders for batters, proper fermentation control, and traditional spice tempering (tadka). Comfort using kitchen tools like wet grinder, idli steamers, etc.
Core Duties and Responsibilities:
Food Preparation: Cooking daily meals or menu batches consistently, maintaining authentic flavor profiles.
Kitchen Sanitation: Keeping the cooking station, utensils, and grinding equipment clean and sanitized according to health codes.
Inventory Tracking: Monitoring spice and grain stock levels, preventing food waste, and noting items that need reordering.
