Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of shelling line equipment.
- Maintain cutters, conveyors, vibrators, and shell separators.
- Ensure timely response and resolution of machine breakdowns.
- Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance and lubrication.
- Support maintenance of cookers, dryers, graders, packing lines, motors, pumps, and VFDs.
- Maintain maintenance records, PM checklists, and spare parts usage.
- Follow safety procedures, PPE, LOTO, and 5S standards.
- Coordinate with production teams to minimize downtime.
Qualifications & Experience
• ITI / Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent hands-on trade experience.
• 2-5 years of hands-on maintenance experience in a food processing, agro-processing, or similar manufacturing plant; cashew or nut-processing experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of mechanical drives, conveyors, pneumatics, basic electrical/VFD systems, and lubrication practices.
• Familiarity with preventive maintenance checklists, job-card/CMMS discipline, and breakdown documentation.
• Willingness to work in rotational shifts and respond to breakdowns promptly.
