Job Position - Transportation Executive
Location - Bavla -Ahmedabad
Job Summary: We are looking for a dynamic and responsible Transportation Executive to manage daily transportation operations for our manufacturing plant. The candidate will be responsible for vehicle planning, dispatch coordination, route management, transporter handling, and ensuring timely movement of materials and finished goods.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate daily inbound and outbound transportation activities.
- Arrange vehicles for dispatch as per production and delivery schedules.
- Handle transport vendors and maintain strong coordination with transporters.
- Ensure timely delivery of finished goods to distributors, depots, and customers.
- Monitor vehicle movement and resolve transportation-related issues.
- Maintain transportation records, invoices, PODs, diesel records, and MIS reports.
- Optimize transportation costs and improve vehicle utilization.
- Ensure compliance with safety, legal, and company transportation policies.
- Coordinate with warehouse, production, and logistics teams for smooth operations.
- Track delays, shortages, damages, or delivery failures and take corrective actions.
