Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage financial operations in a process pump manufacturing environment. The candidate will handle accounting, costing, compliance, and financial reporting, with exposure to industrial project accounting and inventory management.

• Key Responsibilities:Maintain day-to-day accounting transactions (sales, purchase, receipts, payments)
• Handle accounts payable & receivable
• Manage GST compliance, filing returns, and reconciliation
• Prepare financial statements, MIS reports, and monthly closing
• Monitor project costing and job-wise profitability for pump manufacturing orders
• Maintain inventory accounting (raw materials, WIP, finished goods)
• Coordinate with production and stores for stock verification
• Handle vendor payments and customer invoicing (including export documentation if applicable)
• Assist in budgeting and financial forecasting
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (TDS, GST, audits)
• Support internal and external audits
• Maintain records related to capital equipment and depreciation
