Accountant/ Accounts Executive

Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Hospital Accountant to manage financial operations, ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, and support accurate financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting within a hospital or healthcare environment and be familiar with medical billing and insurance processes.

• Key Responsibilities:Maintain and manage the hospital’s financial records and general ledger
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable, including vendor payments and collections
• Handle patient billing reconciliation and coordinate with the billing department
• Providing quoatation for surgeries, medical managemnt, admissions, explaining procedure admission costs, convincing patients for admissions.
• Monitor insurance claims, reimbursements, and revenue cycles
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Ensure compliance with healthcare financial regulations and internal policies
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control initiatives
• Conduct internal audits and support external audits
• Track and report on hospital expenses, departmental budgets, and profitability
• Work closely with management to improve financial processes and efficiency
• Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 2–5+ years of accounting experience (healthcare/hospital experience preferred)
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Familiarity with hospital billing systems and insurance processes
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP, QuickBooks) and MS Excel
• High attention to detail and strong analytical skills
• Preferred Qualifications: B COM, M Com, MBA, finance & accounting, CA / CMA / CPA
• Experience with hospital management software
