Company: Landmark PropertiesIndustry: Real Estate / Property DevelopmentJob SummaryWe are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Assistant to join our finance team at Landmark Properties. In this role, you will play a key part in managing daily financial operations, maintaining accurate real estate ledgers, and supporting property-related financial transactions. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in accounting principles, excellent organizational skills, and a keen eye for detail.

  • Key ResponsibilitiesLedger Maintenance: Assist in maintaining accurate accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) ledgers specifically for property management and construction accounts.
  • Invoicing & Billing: Generate and dispatch rent, maintenance, and brokerage invoices to tenants, clients, and partners.
  • Expense Tracking: Verify and process vendor invoices, construction material expenses, and utility bills.
  • Bank Reconciliation: Perform daily or weekly bank reconciliations to ensure all rental receipts and operational payments are accurately recorded.
  • Data Entry: Enter daily financial transactions, vouchers, and journal entries into the accounting software (e.g., Tally, ERP, or QuickBooks).
  • Documentation: Maintain systematic physical and digital records of agreements, tax invoices, and financial contracts.
  • Compliance Support: Assist senior accountants in gathering documentation for GST, TDS, and other statutory tax filings.
  • Required Skills & QualificationsEducation: B.Com (Accounting and Finance) or a related degree/specialization in Commerce.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and hands-on experience with accounting software (Tally Prime, QuickBooks, or similar).
  • Industry Knowledge: Basic understanding of real estate-specific accounting concepts (such as rental deposits, TDS on rent, and construction expenses) is a strong plus.
  • Soft Skills: Strong numerical aptitude, excellent communication skills for vendor/tenant coordination, and a high level of integrity.
