Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Transaction Processing: Scanning items, processing cash, credit/debit, and check payments, and issuing receipts or change.
  • Customer Service: Welcoming customers, answering questions, resolving complaints, and providing information on promotions.
  • Cash Handling & Security: Balancing the cash drawer at the start and end of shifts, maintaining accuracy, and adhering to theft/fraud prevention policies.
  • Returns & Exchanges: Managing returns, exchanges, and coupons efficiently.
  • Maintenance: Keeping the checkout area clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.
