CCTV Technician

1. Security System Installation & Setup

• Install and configure IP-based & analog CCTV systems, ensuring proper placement and connectivity.
• Set up biometric Time & Attendance devices, ensuring accurate user enrollment and functionality.
• Install and integrate Video Door Phones (VDP), intercoms, motion sensors, and automation devices.
• Ensure secure wiring, power connections, and network configurations for seamless operation.
• Perform system testing and verification after installation to confirm functionality.

2. Configuration & Networking

• Configure IP addresses, subnetting, VLAN segmentation, and remote monitoring for CCTV and access control systems.
• Establish LAN/WAN connections, optimize bandwidth, and secure firewall settings.
• Set up cloud and local storage solutions for security systems.
• Troubleshoot network outages, device connectivity issues, and remote access failures.

3. Troubleshooting & AMC Support

• Diagnose camera blind spots, motion detection errors, and system failures.
• Provide on-site and remote troubleshooting assistance for client systems.
• Conduct routine maintenance and software/firmware updates as part of AMC.
• Perform periodic health checks for installed security devices to ensure long-term reliability.
• Maintain AMC service logs and assist clients with timely upgrades and optimizations.

4. Customer Service & Technical Support

• Assist customers in understanding system functionality, troubleshooting methods, and usage guidelines.
• Provide training and walkthrough sessions for clients on security device usage.
• Respond to urgent service requests and emergency repairs outside regular work hours if needed.
• Offer technical recommendations for clients needing system enhancements or upgrades.
• Maintain polite, professional, and timely communication with clients.

5. Safety & Compliance

• Follow electrical safety protocols and ensure secure installation methods.
• Adhere to industry standards for data security, privacy, and system integrity.
• Implement fire, electrical, and physical safety precautions when installing systems.
• Ensure compliance with Manan Solutions Pvt Ltd.’s quality control policies.
