Job Description
Job Role: CCTV Technician
What you will do:
- Put up cameras: Fix security cameras on walls, roofs, or poles.
- Run the wires: Neatly lay down and connect cables between the cameras, screens, and the recording machine.
- Check the pictures: Make sure all cameras are showing clear, good-quality video on the monitor.
- Fix broken things: Check why a camera stopped working, replace bad wires, and clean dusty lenses.
- Keep tools safe: Look after your tools, ladder, and safety gear, and keep your workspace clean.
What you should know (Skills):
- How to use basic hand tools like a drilling machine, screwdrivers, and wire cutters.
- Basic knowledge of how to connect wires properly.
- Able to safely climb ladders to fix cameras high up.
- Honesty and the ability to work well with your team.
What you need:
- No high-level degree required; basic schooling is fine.
- Experience or basic training in fixing electrical items or doing cable work
