Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive and technically skilled IT Support / Computer Technician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day IT support tasks, troubleshooting hardware/software issues, maintaining systems and networks, and providing technical assistance to internal teams. You will also assist with computer servicing, installations, upgrades, and general IT administration tasks.


Key Responsibilities

🖥️ IT Support & Troubleshooting

  • Provide first-line support for hardware, software, and networking issues.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues with desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
  • Support users with OS installation, configuration, patching, and application updates.
  • Handle password resets, email setup, account configuration, and remote access support.

🛠️ Computer Hardware & Servicing

  • Assemble, disassemble, and service desktops/laptops.
  • Replace/upgrade hardware components (RAM, SSD, HDD, motherboard, etc.).
  • Perform routine maintenance of office IT equipment and infrastructure.

🌐 Network & System Administration

  • Monitor and manage LAN/WAN connectivity and internet issues.
  • Maintain network devices like switches, routers, and firewalls.
  • Assist in configuring IP addresses, DNS, DHCP, and wireless devices.
  • Ensure system security and backups are running properly.

📋 Asset Management & IT Documentation

  • Maintain an inventory of IT hardware and software licenses.
  • Document issues, resolutions, and procedures for future reference.
  • Assist in procurement and vendor coordination for IT-related purchases.

🔐 Security & Compliance

  • Assist in implementing basic cybersecurity best practices.
  • Maintain antivirus, firewalls, and system patching to ensure IT hygiene.


Requirements

✅ Education & Experience

  • ITI/Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
  • 1–4 years of experience in IT support or computer hardware servicing.

🧠 Technical Skills

  • Strong knowledge of Windows OS, MS Office, and basic networking concepts.
  • Hands-on experience with system assembly, repair, and software installation.
  • Familiarity with Active Directory, LAN/WAN troubleshooting, and remote support tools.
