Job Description
THE ROLE
We are looking for an energetic Sales Executive who combines strong B2B selling skills with hands-on Digital marketing capabilities. In this hybrid role, you will not only generate leads and close deals for our SaaS products, but also build our brand presence on LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X (Twitter), and YouTube. You will work directly with the founders and product team, with a clear path to grow into a senior sales or marketing leadership role.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES — SALES
● Lead Generation: Generate qualified leads through outbound calls, emails, LinkedIn outreach, and field meetings across SMB and mid-market segments in India.
● Product Demos: Conduct discovery calls, product demos, and follow-ups for Softmerce Products
● Sales Cycle Ownership: Manage the full sales cycle — from prospecting to negotiation, closure, onboarding handoff, and renewal conversations.
● Pipeline Management: Maintain accurate pipeline data, deal stages, and forecasts in our internal CRM.
● Targets: Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES — DIGITAL MARKETING
● Content Calendar: Plan, schedule, and publish content across LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X (Twitter), and YouTube for all Softmerce brands.
● Content Creation: Create scroll-stopping posts, carousels, reels, short videos, and customer-story content using Canva, CapCut, and similar tools.
● Paid Campaigns: Run targeted paid campaigns (Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Google Ads) to drive demo bookings and signups.
● Community Engagement: Engage with comments, DMs, and inbound queries — convert online conversations into sales opportunities.
● Campaign Alignment: Coordinate with the design and product team to align campaigns with launches, features, and seasonal offers.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE
● 1–4 years of experience in B2B sales, inside sales, business development, or Digital marketing — preferably in SaaS, IT, or digital services.
● Excellent verbal and written communication in English; working knowledge of Hindi, Kannada, or Tamil is a strong plus.
● Practical knowledge of Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, and Google Ads.
● Comfort with content tools like Canva, CapCut, or InShot for quick design and video edits.
● Sharp commercial instincts — ability to read a buyer, handle objections, and close confidently.
● Ownership mindset — you treat targets as personal commitments, not company expectations.
● Bachelor's degree in any discipline; an MBA or marketing certification is a plus, not a requirement.
