Job Description
Looking for HVAC technician installs, maintains, and repairs heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. They diagnose electrical and mechanical faults, perform emergency repairs, and conduct routine preventative maintenance to ensure optimal climate control and indoor air quality.
Core Responsibilities
- System Diagnostics: Troubleshooting electrical circuits, mechanical faults, refrigerant leaks, and airflow issues.
- Maintenance & Repair: Performing seasonal tune-ups, cleaning coils, changing filters, and replacing defective components like motors, compressors, and thermostats.
- Installation: Safely removing old equipment and installing new HVAC/R systems according to local building codes.
- Customer Service: Consulting with clients on system performance, explaining repair options, and recommending efficiency upgrades.
