Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead Conversion & Sales

  • Generate leads and handle inbound leads
  • Handle inbound and outbound calls to potential B2B customers (dealers, distributors, retailers)
  • Convert leads into confirmed orders
  • Pitch products effectively with focus on margins, quality, and repeat business
  • Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets

2. Follow-up & Pipeline Management

  • Maintain strong follow-up system for all leads
  • Track lead status (interested / not interested / follow-up / converted)
  • Ensure no lead is missed or delayed

3. Product Knowledge & Pitch

  • Clearly explain product benefits (Palm Jaggery, Sprout Powder, etc.)
  • Communicate pricing, margins, and schemes confidently
  • Handle objections and close sales professionally

4. Customer Relationship Management

  • Build long-term relationships with customers
  • Ensure repeat orders and consistent engagement
  • Handle basic customer queries and coordinate with team if needed

5. Coordination

  • Coordinate with Team Lead for support on closures
  • Work with dispatch/operations team for order updates
  • Ensure customers are informed about delivery timelines

6. Reporting & Discipline

  • Maintain daily call reports and sales updates
  • Update CRM / Excel with accurate data
  • Follow company sales process and calling discipline strictly
  • Required SkillsGood communication skills (English + Tamil preferred)
  • Strong convincing and negotiation ability
  • Basic understanding of sales process
  • Ability to handle rejection and pressure
  • Self-discipline and consistency
