Interior Designer

Job Summary

The Interior Designer at Ovion Lifestyle will act as a spatial strategist and design consultant. You will bridge the gap between premium furniture manufacturing and high-end residential spaces. You will consult HNIs (High-Net-Worth Individuals), architects, and builders to help them choose, customize, and place Ovion's signature handcrafted sofas, recliners, dining setups, and bespoke upholstery into their luxury home projects.

Key Responsibilities

Client Consulting & Design Pitching: Meet elite walk-in clients at our flagship showrooms to understand their layout briefs, lifestyle requirements, and aesthetic tastes.

Space Planning & Mood Boards: Create 2D layouts, spatial flow designs, and premium mood boards that integrate custom furniture with the overall home interior theme.

Material & Color Curation: Guide clients in selecting high-grade finishes, focusing heavily on premium genuine Italian leather hides, luxury velvets, hardware, and wood finishes.

Customization Coordination: Work closely with the production factory team to translate a client's custom dimensions and fabric/leather choices into workable manufacturing instructions.

Site Visits & Execution: Conduct on-site spatial measurements to ensure custom-designed sectionals, L-shape sofas, and dining sets fit perfectly within the site architecture.

Relationship Management: Build and maintain active pipelines with local independent architects, turnkey interior decorators, and real estate developers across Bangalore.

Key Skills & Qualifications

Education: Graduate Degree or Professional Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or Fine Arts.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, to quickly generate premium layout proposals.

Product Knowledge: Strong understanding of furniture ergonomics, leather grading, foam densities, and luxury material pairings.

Soft Skills: Immaculate presentation, fluent English communication skills, and the elite soft skills needed to consult luxury clients confidently.

Portfolio: A portfolio showing successful premium residential transformations or custom furniture layout work is mandatory Graduate Degree or Professional Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or Fine Arts.
