IT Placement Coordinator

Job Overview: We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented IT Training & Placement Coordinator / Placement Executive to support candidates in their job search process. The role involves candidate profile creation, resume preparation, job applications, recruiter coordination, interview preparation, and placement follow-ups to help candidates secure suitable IT opportunities.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Prepare and optimize professional resumes/CVs based on candidate skills, projects, and experience
• Create and manage candidate profiles on platforms such as Naukri.com, LinkedIn, and other job portals
• Update profiles regularly with relevant keywords, certifications, project details, and experience to improve visibility to recruiters
• Apply for suitable jobs on behalf of candidates across multiple job platforms
• Search and shortlist relevant openings matching candidate profiles and career goals
• Coordinate with HRs / recruiters / hiring managers regarding candidate profiles, interview schedules, and hiring updates
• Build and maintain professional relationships with recruiters for placement opportunities
• Communicate regularly with candidates regarding job openings, interview updates, feedback, and next steps
• Conduct mock interviews (technical + HR rounds) and provide feedback for improvement
• Train candidates on soft skills, communication, interview etiquette, confidence building, email communication, and professional behavior
• Guide candidates on profile presentation, salary negotiation basics, and interview readiness
• Track each candidate’s application status, interview pipeline, offer status, and joining updates
• Prepare daily / weekly placement reports, status updates, and candidate progress reports
• Maintain accurate databases of candidate profiles, applications, recruiter contacts, and placement outcomes
• Follow up consistently with both candidates and recruiters to ensure smooth closure of opportunities
• Required Skills:Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Good resume writing / profile building skills
• Familiarity with job portals and professional networking platforms
• Basic understanding of IT job roles and hiring requirements
• Confidence in speaking with HRs / recruiters
• Good coordination and follow-up skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel / reporting tools
• Ability to mentor and motivate candidates
