LASER CUTTING MACHINE OPERATOR

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Laser Cutting Operator to operate and maintain laser cutting machines for precision cutting of metal and other materials. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with laser cutting equipment, be able to read technical drawings, and ensure high-quality output while following safety standards.

• Key Responsibilities
• Set up, operate, and monitor laser cutting machines
• Read and interpret technical drawings and cutting programs.
• Load and unload materials such as Mild steel, stainless steel, aluminum, etc.
• Select correct machine parameters (speed, power, focus).
• Perform quality checks to ensure accuracy and dimensional tolerances.
• Conduct routine machine maintenance and basic troubleshooting.
• Identify and report machine faults or material defects.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Meet production targets and deadlines.
• Follow company safety policies and procedures at all times.
• Proven experience as a Laser Cutting Operator or CNC machine operator.
• Knowledge of laser cutting machines and software (e.g., CNC controls, nesting software).
• Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications.
• Basic understanding of machine maintenance and tooling.
• Good attention to detail and quality control.
• Physically fit and able to handle materials.
