Mechanical Design Engineer

We are looking for a detail-oriented Junior Mechanical Designer to support our engineering team in creating mechanical designs and drawings for Robotic products, services, components, and automation systems. This entry-level role is ideal for candidates with a strong foundation in mechanical design principles, CAD software proficiency, and a desire to grow within a collaborative engineering environment.

• Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in developing 2D and 3D mechanical designs using CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD or similar).
• Prepare detailed technical drawings, models, and documentation for manufacturing and assembly.
• Support senior engineers in design reviews, prototyping, and testing activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (production, quality, and R&D) to ensure design feasibility and compliance with standards.
• Revise and update designs based on feedback, test results, and engineering changes.
• Maintain accurate records of design files, revisions, and project documentation.
• Ensure designs adhere to safety, quality, and industry standards.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or related field.
• Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD or equivalent).
• Basic understanding of mechanical systems, materials, and manufacturing processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in design work.

Preferred Skills:

• Exposure to GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
• Knowledge of sheet metal design, machining, or plastic components.
• Familiarity with simulation tools (FEA, CFD) is a plus.
