Role OverviewWe are looking for an experienced Purchase Manager to manage end-to-end procurement of construction materials for residential projects. The ideal candidate should have strong market knowledge of material pricing, specifications, quality grades, vendor sourcing, and negotiation.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle end-to-end purchase & procurement of construction materials for multiple projects.
• Strong knowledge of current market pricing for:
• Cement
• Steel / TMT
• Bricks / Blocks
• Sand / Aggregates
• Finishing & hardware materials
• Good understanding of material specifications, brands, and quality grades and where each material is used in construction.
• Vendor identification, sourcing, negotiation, and rate finalization.
• Float RFQs, compare quotations, issue POs, and track deliveries.
• Ensure timely material availability at site as per project schedule.
• Coordinate with project/site teams for material planning and requirements.
• Monitor market trends and optimize procurement cost without compromising quality.
• Maintain vendor database, purchase records, and procurement MIS.

Candidate Requirements

✔ 6–10+ years of relevant experience in construction purchase/procurement

✔ Strong experience in residential building materials procurement

✔ Strong negotiation and vendor management skills

✔ Excellent knowledge of Bengaluru supplier/vendor market preferred

✔ Kannada speaking mandatory

✔ Bengaluru-based candidates preferred
